Circulating endothelial cell, immunomagnetic isolation and UEA-1 staining
SEM of vessel with endoithelial cells

What we do

The EUROCEC core consists of scientists with considerable experience in the field of circulating endothelial cells and vascular biology.

Our aim is to disseminate knowledge about vascular biology, markers of endothelial damage and circulating endothelial cells in particular. Our interest covers basis science as well as clinical applications. We conduct studies in this field and organise meetings. Our current aim is to achieve a consensus for the isolation and enumeration of circulating endothelial cells in humans.

Projects

Proposal of a consensus for immunomagnetic isolation of CECs
